Stassi`s Pizza & Restaurant in New Port Richey

We ate here for the first time, and discovered a nice decor, friendly service, and a nice selection of wines. We tried a Greek salad and a Greek pizza, and the food was simply excellent!

Great food with friendly service in a comfy atmosphere. I had the bolognese which had a unique and delightful cinnamon twist, definitely recommended!

Started off with Caesar salads and garlic knots. Had lasagna and Angel hair pasta with Sun dried tomatoes, garlic, basil and olive oil. Wonderful. Amy our waitress was attentive and took great care of us. Will visit them again.

I gave them 1 star because of rude staff answering the phone on several occasions and eh food quality. Tonight, we stopped by on our walk to order food for delivery as we had my 5 month old granddaughter with us and the mosquitos were biting so we didn't want to wait. Rude blonde at the front. When we got home I decided to call. I talked with someone who said she was one of the owners. She said the blonde (name unknown) "was not rude to you at all;" what was rude about her"? I explained as a customer, I'm giving my opinion of how she came across, owner flat out denied the rudeness and hung up on me! Also the food was NOT cooked all the way! Couldn't attach a picture!Very poor customer service! #neveragain!!

Food was really great, fresh and plenty of it! Our server was attentive and efficient but not over bearing. Will definitely eat there again next time we are in Port Richey!

Food was very disappointing. Greasy and over seasoned with garlic. I understand this restaurant is owned by a couple and the husband is Greek. Why do Greeks think they can cook Italian food properly? Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Decor is nice. Friends go here because they like the veal parmesan and the shrimp scampi. My eggplant was the worst I have ever had. The spinach side was excellant.

Food is ok but a horrible business. They treat their employees like dirt. They favor some employees but treat others like dirt. They are NOT AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. I DONT RECOMMEND GIVING THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!!!

What an awesome place. Great atmosphere, professional people, friendly people, and fabulous food at a good price. Go there you will not regret it!

So they have 2 doors to enter. It was rainy and just entered the one closest to get out of the rain. Was met with hecklers from the kitchen and the front door which led to an awkward carryout. Why not lock the door if no one can enter that way? Very rude from the get go and i guess they don't need the business that much. Also, the kicker, ingredients have to be canned. Green giant spinach, I'd recognize it anywhere.

Because we have always enjoyed our meals there, we decided to go to Stassi’s for dinner tonight (8/17). While we were waiting to be seated I looked into the kitchen and NO ONE working in the kitchen was wearing a mask. The servers and hostess all were. I told the hostess we weren’t staying and she asked why. I told her why and added that especially now how important masks are. She just said rather curtly, “GOOD NIGHT”. Don’t know if we’ll ever go back.

I went to Stassi's for first time on New Year's Eve. For an appetizer I had the fried ravioli and for dinner I had the gnocci in a vodka sauce. It was excellent, absolutely delicious. With dinner they served fresh bread that is a ball about 4 inches in diameter and is absolutely yum and it is served with real butter. The staff was wonderful and food was served promptly. I highly recommend Stassi's for dinner or lunch. I plan to return so I can try their pizza.

Really good food and they normally get you out fastest enough for a lunch hour

Always great service, this is the only sit down place I can go to and return to work within my 30 min lunch break. The lunch specials are a ton of food and for a great price.

Great little place. So happy I stopped in. It's well worth the visit. Quality food, friendly people. One of my new favorite stops for a nice dinner.

Pasta carbonara was awesome. The only reason not a 5 star is that my wife said the marinara sauce on her chicken parmigiana was bland. I did not taste it so i cannot comment on it.

Had the eggplant parmesan was awesome just like I remember from my childhood

Been coming here for years for lunch. Not sure how I missed giving it a review for so long. We only ever get the slices and soda lunch special but it's very consistent in that they are big slices and always good. Just tried their baklava at lunch a few days ago and that was perfect too. We'll always go a little out of the way to go here if we want pizza for lunch. I live at least about 20+ pizza places away from them though so it's hard to try anything other than the slices at lunch because it's quick and ready to go so I will have to make a trip out of the way for dinner to try some other things on the menu.

This is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in West Pasco County. I believe that the sauce is the key ingredient in most dishes. If the sauce is good, whether it be a plate of pasta or a cheese pizza, then most other things fall into place. The sauce at Stassi's is excellent.

Had their Chicken Parmigiana Pizza yesterday. I can honestly say that it was one of my most favorite pizzas ever! Thanks!

Stassi's is a fantastic Italian restaurant. We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is so friendly and the staff is top notch. I would recommend Stassi's to anyone looking for a great meal at a very reasonable price. Diane the owner is wonderful.

Competent wait staff and cozy atmosphere. Nice warm bread. Good size lunch portion. Only three stars because my chicken piccata was a bit salty.

It was terrible. The worst pizza ever RUN save your $$ It was under cooked and over priced with everything going on out there you would think they want new customers NOPE terrible terrible food. Definitely not New York pizza

We dined at this restaurant for the first time last night. It was five of us including a 4 year old. The food was so fresh, delicious. We were so comfortable and had such a great time that 3 hours later we were the last party in the restaurant. It was like eating at your mom's house. The staff is so nice. They even catered to my four year old son. Even he had a great time. Thank you so much!!! We are definitely coming back.

Great food! I had there lunch special 2 slices of pizza and a fountain drink for only $6.50

I was in the mood for something sweet. My first visit here. Had a cannoli and a cappucino, both were great. The cannoli was fresh and tasty. Everything is made in house according to the owner. The cappucino was smooth and not bitter at all. Good quality coffee. Nice Italian decor and festive decorations for the holidays. I'm coming back to try the pizza and other dishes.

Extremely happy to find this place. Reminded me of NYC, I'll admit I was skeptical of Italian food in Florida but they knocked it out of the park. I'll certainly frequent this place.

My brother has always taken about how good this place is. I finally tried it and was very pleased. The food was delicious. The staff was very nice.

Beautiful items for sale upon entry: candles, sundries, special italian dishware, kitchen towels and napkins. Delicious pizza and antipasto. Diane a wonderful woman at the register will assist you with whatever you need.

They need another cook. Pizza bionco was overly garlicky, must have had a sale on garlic. I also brought home a piece of tiramisu..their version. Full of whip cream blob. Why all that whip cream? He needs to look up the recipe again. Stassi restaurant OFF MY LIST! NEVER AGAIN.

Frozen reheated in oven chicken that was dry,T and bland. Tried cake for dessert. Mistake #2. Terrible. Took 1 bite and had enough. Staff didn't care enough to ask what was wrong. Dropped $30 and was disappointed enough to leave these comments.

Visited Stassi's at 6:30pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was about 40% full, pretty quiet with 3 people serving. We ordered fried calamari, which came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it was pretty flavorless. We ordered a large Chicken Parmesan Pizza as an entre to split. They have small, individual size pizzas starting at $9.95 that are 10", large pizzas for an average of $16.95 and 16" and XL pizzas for an average of $19.95 at 18". The pizza too about 45 minutes to come out after ordering. We weren't in a rush but it did start to get frustrating. The pizza was pretty good, I'd say above average. When it came time to pay, our server took our credit card, disappeared, and reappeared and began taking orders at a table of about 12 people. Someone else came over with our card to sign for another 10-15 minutes later. All in all, dinner took about an hour and a half to an hour and forty minutes, which felt too long for how busy they were and what we ordered.

Very unsatisfied. Went in for an antipasto salad, was greated by a lady who acted as if she hated her job, very sassy and seemed like she was bothered to take my order. The salad was very lame, not much meat or cheese, the vegetables weren't cut very well at all. And when called to speak to manager, the same lady accused us of yelling at her and that we were disrespectful to her when we were giving nothing but utmost respect. Will not go back. 10$ for a salad that was very disappointing, I could have gotten an Italian sub from the Publix next door and would have been much happier. Would have gotten more food for less money and been satisfied.

Huge portions! Fresh made bread and pizza dough! Owners on site, love a true mom and pop! We'll be back for sure.

First time, nice place, friendly service. Food was good but not great

We just spent $70 at Stassi’s restaurant on two pizzas, garlic knots, a caprese salad and 4 cannolis. The garlic knots have zero garlic on them, only butter and the Sorrento pizza I ordered that is supposed to have fresh basil has not one piece of basil on it. I called the restaurant to see if I received the wrong order, she told me there is garlic in the butter which I cannot see any garlic at all or taste it and she told me the cook forgot to put the basil on my pizza and they will credit me a topping next time I order. Then she hung up on me. I paid with cash and she doesn’t have my name so I’m not sure how they will credit me my topping next time but I will not be going back there anytime soon. My $70 could’ve been well spent somewhere else. Try to support a small business and this is what you get.
